A new owner of a King Single bed may find that although they can find sheets in King Single size, quilts and quilt cover sets generally do not come in King Single size. So what size quilt/doona is best for a King Single bed?
Since all four standard-sized quilts are the same length and King Single beds are longer than but the same width as a Single, it would make sense to suggest a Single size quilt for a Kingle Single Bed. However, we find that since those opting for a King Single bed are often not only too tall for a Single but also broader across the shoulders they generally prefer the wider Double Bed quilt/doona, and so this is the size we recommend for both the quilt/doona and the Quilt Cover for it.
